Shut up and perform is the atmosphere that women athletes are constantly put in. Women, regardless of the industry, experience a double standard when it comes to what they can and are expected to wear. In this episode, we discuss the impact these double standards have on women, the power in being invisible in a male-dominated industry and how dehumanizing it can be to be treated in this way.

We acknowledge that this is not a zero-sum game and that it is not a 'male' problem but rather a societal issue. We live in a society that has isolated women to be objects and performers rather than people. This is not a man vs. woman problem - we all have to change the way we think, act, and react.
