Why we don’t talk about porn
What started out as Toni and Sorcha watching Hulu’s Pam & Tommy (the story of Pamela Anderson’s stolen sex tape) turned into a discussion on how women and technology have impacted the porn industry. Important to note that the Hulu documentary did not involve Pamela Anderson in its creation - this is a focal point of our conversation as women are constantly left out of the decision making process even when it is about them.
We acknowledge that there have been massive strides in women’s rights and equality, yet in 2022 we are still facing some fundamental challenges when it comes to how women are subjectified.
