Episode Eight: The two realities of American Democracy

It has been nearly three weeks since the US Presidential Election, in this week's episode we reflect on all of the moving pieces. This election was unprecedented for many reasons--mail-in ballots, historic turnout, a female Vice President--all amid a global pandemic.

As two women who align with the values of the Democratic Party, we shared in the excitement around Vice President-elect Kamal Harris. And pondered the question if the next ticket for President had a woman at the top but not from our party, would we be just as excited to break the glass ceiling?
