Episode 06: Politics in the US of A.

First things first we need to note that this episode was recorded before quarantine, Toni is now in Vancouver and Sorcha is no longer sick. But now to the real matter at hand, Sorcha shares her thoughts on the Bernie Sanders campaign and reflects on the momentum he had when recording, side note he has since suspended his campaign for the 2020 Democratic nominee. 

We talk in depth about campaign structures in America and how they work within a political party vs. a movement. Political parties and movement are often used synonymously when actually they are two distinct political infrastructures. As you all know we both have extensive experience working in and around political software, we couldn't have this conversation without touching upon the role of tech in campaigns today.
